How to change your Virtualmin login password

For security, we recommend changing your Extra Administrator password periodically and always using a strong password that's different from the ones you use for other services.

Steps to change your password

1. Log in to Virtualmin with your current username and password.
2. Go to Edit Users in the side menu (within your domain's management area).
3. Select your own user account (the one you logged in with).
4. In the password field, enter the new password.
5. Click Save to confirm the change.

Security recommendations

• Use at least 12 characters combining uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
• Don't reuse the password from your email or other accounts.
• If you suspect your password may have been compromised, change it immediately and open a support ticket so we can review your account's activity.

Forgot your password?

If you can't log in because you've forgotten your password, open a support ticket with your domain name and we'll verify your identity before resetting it.
